今年四月至沖繩參加由IUCN工作坊，

受邀給了一場關於陸寄居蟹保育的演講。

然而當時大家就在想要有後續，

如何繼續推動保育。

於是我們就決定一起寫一篇文章，

也很感謝大家的信任，

讓我有榮幸的來領導這篇文章的撰寫。

這篇文章主要是在講陸寄居蟹關於生態、文化的重要性，以及近期所發生的事件希望相關單位能多多注意，並且提出一些對策與建言。

雖然文章很短，

但是重要性十足。

尤其近期又發生琉球山龜的盜獵事件，

生物多樣性保育需要各方單位關注。

I would like to sincerely thank Prof. James and Prof. Naruse from the University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa professional photographer and land hermit crab conservationist Shawn, and IUCN SSG Sergio for organizing the workshop to help make this article possible.

I believe this marks an important first step toward land hermit crab conservation. Let's work together to keep Okinawa's wildlife thriving!
